Crystal Palace have officially announced the signing of Senegalese winger Ismaïla Sarr for £12.5m on a five-year deal. The Senegal international has moved to Selhurst Park after Palace agreed a £12.5m deal with Marseille football.

He has signed a five-year contract and becomes the club’s third new signing of the summer. UFABET

Sarr said: “I am very happy to be here because Crystal Palace is a great club. Thanks to the coach and the sporting director, they told me about their project and I accepted it because it is a good project.”

“I will work hard both on and off the pitch for the team and for the fans as well.”

Sarr has previous experience in English football with Watford, having left Vicarage Road for Marseille last summer and has made 35 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, scoring five goals and providing six assists.

Sarr has scored 13 goals and provided six assists for Senegal, helping his country win the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.

Palace have been searching for a replacement for Michael Olise since the Frenchman joined Bayern Munich.

Palace banked £50m from Olise’s departure and the club have been active in the market so far this summer.
